Overview

This subject builds on the skills first developed in Primary 4 Math and Science. In Primary 4 Math, students learn how to solve word problems, work with numbers, and understand simple graphs. In Science, they explore basic concepts, make observations, and learn to explain how things work.

It helps students take these skills further by organizing information clearly, thinking step by step, and solving more challenging problems. It also strengthens their ability to explain answers using logical reasoning, similar to how Primary 4 students explain their thinking in both Math and Science.

By building on what is learned in Primary 4, students become more confident in handling numbers, patterns, and scientific ideas, preparing them for more advanced learning in the future.
