Conceptual understanding of formulas, mind maps to connect to concept.
Combined Science (Physics & Chemistry) is a core subject for Secondary students preparing for N-Level and O-Level examinations. It integrates fundamental concepts from both Physics and Chemistry, helping students understand how the physical world and chemical processes work together in real-life applications.
In Physics, students study topics such as forces, motion, energy, electricity, and waves. In Chemistry, they explore chemical reactions, atomic structure, bonding, acids and bases, and the periodic table.
At this level, students are expected to apply scientific concepts to explain phenomena, interpret data, and solve structured exam questions with accuracy and clarity.
Combined Science can be challenging due to the need to master two disciplines at once while also applying concepts in exam-based contexts. Many students struggle with understanding abstract concepts, experiment-based questions, and structured explanations.
At GLLC, we simplify complex scientific ideas and guide students to develop strong understanding and exam skills in both Physics and Chemistry.
Our tuition program is designed to:
Strengthen conceptual understanding in Physics and Chemistry
Improve ability to apply scientific principles to real-world scenarios
Develop strong data interpretation and experimental analysis skills
Train students in structured answering techniques for exams
We use the ACE Methodology — Assessment, Customization, and Execution to ensure effective and targeted learning.
We focus on helping students understand the core principles behind scientific concepts rather than memorizing facts. This allows them to apply knowledge confidently across different question types.
Students are trained to approach exam questions strategically:
Build essential knowledge for N-Level and O-Level success.
Develop the ability to interpret graphs, experiments, and scientific data.
Gain confidence in handling both theoretical and application-based questions.
Improve accuracy, clarity, and structured answering for higher marks.
