Empowering students to excel in Primary 2 through structured learning and expert tuition.
Primary 2 builds students’ confidence in basic problem-solving and thinking skills through simple and engaging activities in Math and Science. The course focuses on understanding numbers, shapes, measurements, and patterns in Math, while exploring everyday topics such as plants, animals, materials, and the environment in Science.
Students learn how to organize information, make simple observations, and explain their ideas clearly. They are encouraged to think step-by-step when solving problems and to relate what they learn to real-life situations.
The program also helps develop good learning habits, such as checking their work, asking questions, and staying curious. With a strong foundation in both subjects, students are better prepared for more advanced concepts in upper primary levels.
Primary 2 often poses difficulties for students because of its abstract concepts and higher-order problem-solving. At GLLC, we make these concepts easy to understand and equip students with proven strategies to excel in Primary 2.
Our tuition program is designed to:
Strengthen conceptual understanding beyond memorization.
Provide effective problem-solving techniques for complex questions.
Build confidence in handling a wide range of exam questions.
Develop structured answering techniques to maximize marks.
We use the ACE Methodology — Assessment, Customization, and Execution — to help students achieve excellence.
We help young learners understand basic concepts in Math and Science in a fun and meaningful way. Instead of memorizing, students learn why things work—like how numbers relate to each other or how the world around them functions. This builds a strong foundation and boosts confidence in applying what they learn in everyday situations.
At this level, students are guided to develop good thinking habits. We teach them to:
Build resilience by tackling new concepts with curiosity and a positive attitude.
Strengthen number sense, basic operations, and logical thinking and understand key concepts, observe patterns, and apply simple reasoning.
Approach questions with clarity and assurance across both subjects.
Develop better pacing to complete assignments and tests efficiently while minimizing careless mistakes.
