Founder’s Reflections
Throughout my years of teaching, I developed my own teaching methodology (ACE) for Elementary & Additional Mathematics as well as Physics and Chemistry. I am committed to guide students who are academically weaker than their peers but are willing to learn.
Personally , I share the common belief of positivity. The idea of positivity dictates a person’s ability to sustain him/her self in a stressful environment and this aspect is especially relevant to students who are studying in Singapore. The education system in Singapore is specially emplaced to hone students academically in stressful and competitive environment in order to brace them for the future. While some are able to survive or even excel in this kind of environments, others are susceptible to the idea of giving up. Fortunately, the idea of giving up is not present in my dictionary as I strive to turn despondence into confidence within these students. I will always do my utmost to instil positive values such as determination and perseverance within our students and guide them to develop not only as an academically successful student but also as an individual. As such, I view my self in taking the role of a moral compass of these students to practice what is right and abstain from doing what is wrong.
In addition, I personally believe that given the right guidance and right amount of effort, anyone can overcome their limits and achieve their desired results. Thus, at the end of the day, no one would have any unspoken regrets as long as they have followed through these factors.
